Have you ever stopped to think that the bathroom is where you are at your cleanest? That is why the bathroom should ideally also be the cleanest room in the home. Your daily routines affect how much scrubbing is needed on cleaning day.

Everyone enjoys a fresh, clean bathroom. It is worth taking good care of bathroom surfaces, and small daily actions can significantly reduce the workload on cleaning day.
Routines I would not give up
Wiping water splashes from around the sink after washing your face is quick and easy if you keep a cloth ready in a drawer for this purpose.
In the shower area, the SINI Super Soak Up Drying Cloth is unbeatable: it absorbs up to ten times its own weight in water and dries quickly, ready for its next use.
Drying the surfaces after showering is the single most important thing you can do to keep the bathroom clean with minimal effort. Water and cleaning product residue leave deposits that make surfaces look dull and require more cleaning later.

Wiping away water splashes is quick when a cloth is kept close at hand.
A soft, absorbent microfibre cloth and a squeegee are the bathroom’s best friends. The cloth can also be used to dry areas that the squeegee cannot reach, such as taps, silicone seals and corners.
Your drying routine should include at least the glass shower wall, taps and silicone seals. Drying the floor is quick and easy with a long-handled squeegee. Finish by using the cloth to wipe any areas that are still wet.
Tip: To finish drying the floor, spread the cloth on the floor and use the squeegee to move it across the surface. This also helps to dry the grout lines thoroughly.

For the final drying of the floor, a cloth and a long-handled squeegee work together.
Does that sound like a lot of work? It is not, at least once it has become a routine. Drying can become a shared evening routine: the last person to shower dries the surfaces. The reward is a bathroom that looks clean every day.
An easy cleaning day
Once the small everyday routines are under control, the actual cleaning day becomes much easier.
Wet the tiled surfaces and grout with water, then spray the surfaces with SINI Bathroom Cleaner, following the instructions for use. The acidic bathroom cleaner is effective against limescale and helps to keep surfaces clean.
A long-handled bathroom scourer makes it quick to clean the surfaces without crouching down. Wash the walls from the bottom upwards. The same scourer is also suitable for floors, or you can attach a bathroom brush to a SINI shaft if you prefer to brush the floor.

A long-handled bathroom scourer allows you to clean the floor without crouching down.
Use a soft sponge or cloth and a cleaning product suitable for the tap’s surface material. Remember to clean the undersides of the taps carefully as well.
Finally, rinse the surfaces and finish with a squeegee and cloth – and you are done.
Always check that the cleaning product and tools are suitable for your surfaces. Marble and other natural stone surfaces, for example, require cleaning products specifically designed for them.
What should you do about limescale and soap deposits?
If deposits have accumulated on the surfaces, use the right product for the right type of dirt. An acidic cleaning product is effective against limescale, while an alkaline product works on greasy dirt.
Allow the cleaning product to work according to its instructions, then clean the dirt using a tool suitable for the surface. Do not allow the product to dry on the surface. Wet the tile grout before applying the cleaning product and rinse the surfaces thoroughly after cleaning.
Use a grout brush for the grout lines and a sponge selected according to the material for other surfaces. Even stubborn dirt should not be scrubbed with excessive force: make sure the tool is suitable and test it first on an inconspicuous area. Use different cleaning products separately and never mix them.

The right cleaning product and tools suitable for the surface make bathroom cleaning easier.
In the end, small drying routines are the easiest way to reduce the workload on the next cleaning day. When splashes are not left to dry on the surfaces, the bathroom stays clean with less effort.
