The cleaning stone is an eco-friendly and versatile cleaning product for the home – a true miracle cleaner. It effectively tackles everything from pots and pans to shower walls. As it's a powerful cleaner, it's always a good idea to test it first on an inconspicuous area.
What is a Cleaning Stone?
The cleaning stone is a solid cleaning agent that works by rubbing a dampened sponge onto its surface. Its main ingredient is sodium carbonate, also known as washing soda. The stone is scented with a fresh minty aroma.
The cleaning stone is biodegradable and non-toxic, so you can use it safely throughout your home, outdoors, at the cottage, or even on a boat.

Where Can You Use a Cleaning Stone?
The cleaning stone can be used both indoors and outdoors on water-washable surfaces. It’s an abrasive cleaner, but gentle enough not to scratch surfaces. In the kitchen, it’s excellent for cleaning pots, pans, oven trays, and sinks. In the bathroom, it can be used on tiled walls, sauna glass doors, and taps. Try it on white sneakers, running shoes, and rubber boots too. Many have found it incredibly effective for removing stubborn dirt that other cleaners can't handle.
Try the Cleaning Stone on these areas:
Kitchen:
- Stovetops and burners (steel, glass, ceramic)
- Oven interiors and baking trays

How to Use a Cleaning Stone
Rub a dampened sponge (included in the packaging) onto the surface of the cleaning stone. Then, squeeze the sponge slightly to distribute the product evenly. Scrub the surface you wish to clean, then rinse or wipe it clean. Between uses, allow the cleaning stone and sponge to dry without the lid on.
