One of our closest friends is from Finland, and she had spoken very highly of the brand long before we became ambassadors, so when we received the invitation, it felt incredibly exciting to become part of something that is already so well loved by so many. To us, SINI stands for quality and sustainability – two core values that we prioritise in our own company as well, so it feels like a fantastic match.

Marléne and Desirée, mother and daughter, are the duo behind @husmorstipset. In addition to sharing cleaning and household tips with our hundreds of thousands of followers on social media, we write books, give lectures, appear on various TV and radio programmes, and run a cleaning company together.

Marléne started the cleaning company we work with today over 30 years ago, and after many years in the cleaning industry, she was contacted by a production company to audition for a new TV show – Rent Hus (Clean House). She landed the role as host, and it was an instant success. After that, she began appearing as a cleaning expert on TV4’s Nyhetsmorgon and has been doing so for nearly 20 years. I, Desirée, joined about five years ago when we launched Husmorstipset and wrote our first book, Ren Städglädje (The Joy of Cleaning). Today, I work as the CEO of the company and we’ve just released our second book, Husmorsbibeln (The Housewife’s Bible), published by Norstedts.

Let cleaning become a part of your weekly routine, and don’t hesitate to break it down into stages – don’t try to tackle the entire home at once. Instead, divide it up. This could mean focusing on one room at a time, or even breaking it down into smaller tasks like tidying your desk or cleaning the kitchen sink. Rome wasn’t built in a day – just like your whole home doesn’t need to be cleaned in a day either. And last but not least, treat yourself to good tools and cleaning products – they not only make the job easier and improve the results, but they also make it much more enjoyable!
